Crocheted small bear description. Knitted bears. MK from Vera Izgrebina

Good afternoon, friends!

Today, I will tell you how you can crochet a bear toy.

Handmade toys carry some kind of invisible warmth and sincerity. Therefore, I suggest you knit such a funny and very soft bear that will delight both children and adults. Besides, knitted toys- this is excellent and original gift for the birthday boy, especially if he made it with his own hands.

And yet, you can knit a toy - a pillow. Such a pillow will not only decorate the interior, but you can also play with it. You can watch a master class on how to crochet such a pillow.

To knit a bear, we will need:

  1. White yarn (artificial wool) – 100 gr.
  2. Gray yarn “Grass” – 100 g.
  3. Black yarn (wool).
  4. Hook No. 4.
  5. Glue gun.
  6. Satin ribbon – 30 cm.
  7. Eyes – 2 pcs.
  8. Sintepon.

I would like to note that tying a bear is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. The most difficult thing will be to knit the head, namely the nose, so we will start knitting from the head.

Bear head

1st row: We start knitting with white yarn. We crochet 3 loops and connect them into a ring, that is, we thread them through the first loop. All the time you will knit in a circle in one direction.

2-3 row: We knit one from each loop, that is, there will be 4 times more loops, namely 12 loops.

4th row: From this row we begin to knit the nose. In the upper part we will pull out one more from each loop, but we will simply knit the lower part without adding anything. So, from the top 6 loops we knit one at a time, and the bottom 6 loops we knit without adding. It turns out that for the 4th row there will be 12 loops at the top, and 6 loops at the bottom.

Knitting the nose

5-8 row:

We begin to tie the head

9-10 row: We start knitting from gray yarn called “grass”. From each 2nd we knit one loop.

11th row: knit without additions.

Row 12:

Let's start knitting with grass

Row 13: no deductions.

14-15 row: Through one loop we make decreases.

Row 16:

Row 17: no deductions. On this row we fill the head with padding polyester, as it will be completely tied.

Row 18: decrease in each stitch.

Row 19: we tie the remaining loops together and finish.

Bear body

We start knitting with white yarn.

1st row: we crochet 3 loops and connect them into a ring, that is, we thread them through the first loop.

2nd row: knit and knit one from each 2nd loop.

3rd row:

4th row:

5 row: increase in each stitch of the row.

6th row: no additions.

7th row: increase in each stitch of the row.

8th row: increase through one loop.

Let's start knitting the body

9th row: We switch to gray “grass” yarn. From every 2nd loop we knit one more.

10th row: increase in each stitch of the row.

11th row: no additions.

Row 12: addition through one loop, that is, in every 2nd.

13-16 row: no additions.

17-19 row:

We continue to knit the body with “grass”

Row 20: decrease in each stitch.

Row 21: no deductions. Fill with padding polyester.

Row 22: decrease in every 2nd stitch.

Row 23: no deductions.

Row 24: decrease in every 2nd stitch and complete the knitting.

We finish knitting the body

Lower paws of a bear

1st row: knit with white yarn. We collect 4 loops and thread them through the first one.

2nd row: From each loop we knit 3 loops.

3rd row: in every 3rd we add 1 loop.

We knit the lower legs

4th row: we knit “grass” with gray yarn. In every 2nd we knit 1 more loop.

5-11 row: no additions.

Row 12: decrease in every 2nd.

Row 13: decrease in each stitch. Fill the foot with padding polyester.

Row 14: no deductions.

Row 15:

We knit the second lower leg in the same way.

Upper paws of a bear

These paws knit a little differently. I will try to describe this process in detail. So, we cast on 4 loops, then we knit it like this: we thread the hook into the 3rd loop, then into the 2nd and into the 1st. From the 1st we knit 2 new loops, from the 2nd and 3rd we knit 1st loop each. From the 4th and 5th we knit 2 loops. We knit the remaining 9 loops without adding. We switch to gray “grass” yarn. We knit in a circle and add 1 loop in every 2nd stitch. Repeat again We knit two rows with a decrease in every 2nd stitch. We knit a row without decreasing. Then we decrease in each loop and fill the paw with padding polyester. We knit without decreasing. Decrease in each stitch and complete.

We knit the second upper leg in the same way.

Bear ears

1st row: white yarn. We collect 3 loops and connect them into a circle.

2nd row: adding 1 stitch in every 2nd stitch.

3rd row: We begin to knit “grass” with gray yarn. Increase in every 2nd stitch.

4th row: no additions.

5 row: decreases in every 2nd.

6th row: decrease in each stitch. Fill with padding polyester.

7th row: no deductions.

8th row: decrease in each stitch and complete the knitting.

We knit the second ear in the same way.

We knit ears for a bear

All the parts are ready, now let's assemble the bear. I glued all the parts using glue gun, but you can sew it on if you wish. So, we glue the head to the body, glue the ears, upper and lower legs.

Collecting a bear

Using black yarn, knit a nose: cast on 3 loops, connect them into a ring and knit in a circle. Cut the thread. Glue the nose, mouth and eyes using a glue gun.

Making the nose, mouth and eyes

And this is how the bear cub looks from behind.

Rear view

On the bear's neck satin ribbon(width 5 cm) tie a bow. Leave the bear for 30 minutes so that the glue is completely dry.

Knitted toy – “Bear” is ready!

With a little perseverance and patience, such a funny toy will also live in your home. I wish you creative success!

Crochet bear with a felted face.

IN lately has become extremely popular to do DIY toys. And, of course, they occupy a special place here bears, crocheted . Bears there are very different: big and small, fluffy and not so fluffy, but still most of them fits according to one principle. Most often, the head, body, legs and ears are knitted separately, and then the parts are sewn together. Knitting It happens in a spiral with single crochets; you also need to be able to increase and decrease loops. That's it! If you have the described knowledge, then you can safely proceed to knitting teddy bear.

Given master class will teach you knit a bear in mixed media, we will knit crochet main parts, assemble them, and then use the dry felting technique to decorate the face.

Materials and tools for knitting.

  • Yarn for knitting. Choose any one, you can knit a teddy bear from leftover yarn. I still have some wool left ("Mongolian camel"), I decided knit a bear from her. Just keep in mind that the thinner the thread, the smaller your teddy bear will turn out. Small bear cubs are more difficult to knit, so for beginners I would recommend medium-thick yarn.
  • Crochet hook. We choose it depending on the yarn. Yarn labels usually indicate the corresponding hook number. I have hook number 3.
  • Scissors.
  • Filler(sintepon, padding polyester, cotton wool, etc.)
  • Sewing needle soft toys , it can be purchased at a craft store. We will need a long needle, as it is convenient for sewing the legs to the body.
  • Wool for felting: beige for the muzzle and black for the nose. I have an Australian merino.
  • Felting needle (thin).
  • Eyes. You can use ready-made eyes for soft toys, beads, or you can make your own eyes from polymer clay.
  • PVA glue for impregnating the spout.
  • Varnish (you only need a little bit of it, so you can use clear varnish for nails).

Knitting a bear head:

1st row:

2nd row:

3rd row:

4th row:

5 row:

6th row:

7th row:*increase, 5 single crochet* - repeat 6 times (42 loops).

8th row:*inc, 6 single crochets* - repeat 6 times (48 stitches).

9-10 rows: single crochet in each stitch of the previous row (48 stitches).

11th row:*decrease, 6 single crochets* - repeat 6 times (42 loops).

Row 12:*decrease, 5 single crochets* - repeat 6 times (36 loops).

Row 13:*decrease, 4 single crochets* - repeat 6 times (30 loops).

Row 14:*decrease, 3 single crochet* - repeat 6 times (24 loops).

Fill your head with filler. We stuff it tightly, giving it the shape of a ball. If you don't stuff it tightly, you won't get a ball.

Row 15:*decrease, 2 single crochets* - 6 times (18 loops).

Row 16:*decrease, 1 single crochet* - 6 times (12 loops).

Row 17:

Knitting the body of a bear cub:

1st row: We close 6 loops in amigurumi ring(6 loops).

2nd row: Increase in each loop – 6 times (12 loops).

3rd row:*inc, single crochet* - repeat 6 times (18 stitches).

4th row:*inc, 2 single crochets* - repeat 6 times (24 stitches).

5 row:*inc, 3 single crochets* - repeat 6 times (30 stitches).

6th row:*inc, 4 single crochets* - repeat 6 times (36 stitches).

10-11 rows: 22 single crochets.

Row 12:*1 single crochet, decrease* - 7 times, 1 single crochet (15 loops).

Rows 13-14: 15 single crochets.

Fill with filler. We don’t close the hole, our bear’s head is quite large, so to prevent it from overhanging or dangling, we will sew it tightly to the body. Leave a long enough thread so that you can then sew the body to the head.

We knit legs for a bear (2 parts):

1st row: We start knitting with a set of 5 air loops. Then we cast on 1 chain stitch for lifting and knit 1 single crochet into the first loop (of the five cast on), 3 single crochets, 2 increases, 3 single crochets, increases (14 loops).

2nd row: 2 increases, 4 single crochets, 4 increases, 4 single crochets, 2 increases (20 stitches).

3rd row: increase, single crochet, increase, 5 single crochet, increase, single crochet, increase, 5 single crochet, increase, single crochet, increase (24 loops).

5 row: We knit 24 loops behind the back wall (single crochet in each loop).

6th row: 7 single crochets, (decrease, 2 single crochets) - 3 times, 5 single crochets (21 loops).

7th row: 6 single crochets, (decrease, single crochet) - 3 times, 6 single crochets (18 loops).

8th row: 6 single crochets, 3 decreases, 6 single crochets (15 stitches).

Rows 9-11: Single crochet in each loop (15 loops).

Loosely stuff the leg with padding polyester.

Row 12: decrease until the hole is completely closed.

Knitting bear arms (2 parts):

1st row: Close 6 loops into a ring amigurumi(6 loops).

2nd row: Increase in each stitch (12 stitches).

4-6 rows: single crochet in each loop (18 loops).

7th row:*decrease, single crochet* - repeat 6 times (12 loops).

Rows 8-10: single crochet in each loop (12 loops).

11th row:*decrease, single crochet* - repeat 6 times (8 loops).

We stuff the paws, just as loosely as the legs.

Row 12: decrease until the hole is completely closed.

Knitting ears for a bear (2 parts):

1st row: We cast on 2 air loops, here we knit the second hook loop 4 single crochets (4 loops).

2nd row: Turn the knitting over. Increase in each stitch (8 stitches).

3rd row: Turn the knitting over, 1 chain stitch for lifting, single crochet in each stitch (8 stitches).

Leave a long tail of thread to sew the ears to the head.

Assembling the bear.

Sew the head to the body:

Sew on the paws. To do this, we thread the “tail” of the thread that you left when you finished knitting the foot into a needle for sewing toys. We pierce the foot as shown in the photo:

Pull out the thread. On the other foot, cut the thread and hide the end.

We pierce the bear's body right through the place where the paw should be attached.

Sew on the second leg, symmetrically to the first. We drag the needle back and forth several times.

Similarly, we sew the legs of the bear to the body. Sew on the ears.

Face design:

As already written above, we will roll the face of the bear. For this we need felting wool and a needle. It is better to pin the muzzle with a thin needle (No. 40). First, using a small tuft of beige wool, outline the contours of the muzzle.

Felt two small tufts of wool on a sponge - these are the future cheeks. Roll them to the muzzle. Another bunch is the nose.

We decorate the bear's nose with black wool. We make indentations for the eyes. Glue on the eyes.

We continue to design the face. Using a thin flagellum of dark brown wool we shade the contours of the eyes. You can also use darker fur (compared to the main tone of the muzzle) to emphasize the mouth. If you want, the nose can be made hard and shiny. To do this, first saturate it with PVA glue, and then, when the spout is dry, coat it with varnish.

Here we are crocheted a bear. All that remains is to come up with clothes for him.

Happy knitting! WITH best wishes in creativity, author of the toy Anna Lavrentieva.

We are not attaching the legs to the body yet; we will still need to sew on patches.

Assembly and design:

I'll tell you how I attach the legs, arms and how I design it.
First I trace the foot onto paper and make a stencil for the patches on the feet. Then I transfer the stencil onto gray felt and cut out the patches. I take a blue thread (YarnArt JEANS, color 33 (blue)) and sew a patch to the foot of the leg, making three stitches on each side. I also make patches on my hands. I cut out small circles and sew them to the palm of the handle in the same way, but only two stitches on both sides.
I attach the arms and legs using thread fastening (I found a video on the Internet):

We sew the tail to Teddyk's butt.
Next, we make two small squares, these will be patches on the belly and head. We sew them with blue thread on four sides using two stitches. We embroider stitches with blue thread on the head and body. Well that's it! Teddy bear is ready!

Have you seen bear cubs from Pudra Studio? I admit that I fell in love with them at first sight. Well, how can you remain indifferent to these cute ones? bears with a cheerful smile? And I decided to do this DIY bear. I had several attempts. And every time I didn’t like something. Probably the whole point is that I don’t really like to sew, but bears from Pudra Studio precisely sewn. Somewhere on the Internet there is even a pattern for Robert the Bear, which I used as the basis for my first bear cubs. So, I don’t like to sew, I’m much closer to crochet. And one day I thought “why not crochet a bear, and should I make his face in the Pudra Studio style?" I decided to knit from " weed", because bear, connected from this yarn, it turns out shaggy and similar to the original.

So, to create a bear we will need the following materials:
- “grass” yarn (I knitted from “Lotus Stretch” yarn);
- a hook corresponding to the thickness of the yarn;
- wool for felting: beige, white, black and brown;
- needles for felting: No. 38, No. 40 and medium “crown”;
- a small piece of fabric for the ears (it is better to use cotton fabric with a small pattern);
- black thread (thick enough) to imitate seams;
- needle for sewing soft toys;
- scissors;
- eye shadow for tinting the bear.
